Kia Recalls 72,000 Cars for Risk of Electrical Fires

Kia Motors Corp. has recalled 72,000 Kia Sportages for concerns of electrical fires. The company determined that road salt could lead to short circuits in the brake systems, resulting in engine compartment fires. These types of electrical fires have occurred in the 2008 and 2009 Sportages. The recall is due to begin on November 28th, 2016.
